A lifelong advocate for veterans, Dennis is one of the original three founding members who championed legislative protections for disabled veterans and small business owners. He also proudly testified before the United States Senate to help shape policies that continue to benefit service-disabled veteran entrepreneurs today.
Early Life and Education Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Dennis overcame a number of early-life challenges, including time in foster care, before being raised by his grandmother, Mattie Lee Allen, in Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in technology and business. Military Service Dennis served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 1977 through 1983, attaining the rank of Sergeant. His years in uniform instilled a deep sense of discipline, resilience, and leadership—qualities that have remained central throughout his professional life. Professional Career Following his military service, Dennis began a successful career in electronic engineering and information technology.
He contributed to major infrastructure and defense projects at The Pentagon, U.S. Army, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Langley Air Force Base, and Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. He also served as a subcontractor for leading corporations including IBM, Citicorp, and Unisys. In 1986, Dennis launched his first business, LCE, while working as an Earth Station Technician managing satellite communications for the Dow Jones/Wall Street Company. That venture eventually evolved into LCE Newport Beach Inc. in February 2011, expanding into technology integration and construction services. Innovation and Impact Dennis is the inventor of the LCE Black Box Technology, a proprietary system designed to optimize live streaming and webcasting worldwide. This innovation has supported education and remote communication efforts in over 160 countries.
His areas of expertise include electronic engineering, cybersecurity, global satellite networking, and resilient infrastructure—including emergency housing and bomb shelter-equipped residences.
