Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Dennis overcame a number of early-life challenges, including time in foster care, before being raised by his grandmother, Mattie Lee Allen, in Huntsville, Alabama. Military Service
Dennis served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 1977 through 1983, attaining the rank of Sergeant. His years in uniform instilled a deep sense of discipline, resilience, and leadership—qualities that have remained central throughout his professional life.
